Musikademi was created by a group of innovative musicians, who are passionate about passing on their musical knowledge and abilities in a rewarding and highly creative environment.
We decided to set up a music school where all students can benefit from excellent one-to-one tuition, taught by professional music tutors across London.
We focus on achieving superb exam results and accommodate all ages and abilities. But above all, our main principle is to develop the student’s artistic personality and to spark a passion for music!

Ksenija started to play the piano at the age of 6, learning traditions of the unique Russian school of piano playing. From the young age of 11 she began achieving high marks in international competitions, such as the Latvian regional piano competition for junior schools, the “Nova Musica” International chamber ensemble competition, the International P. Tchaikovsky piano competition, and the 3rd Latvian National Competition for Young Pianists, which she won.
Continuing her studies in London, Ksenija has completed her undergraduate music degree at Goldsmiths College, University of London, studying piano performance under Andrew Zolinsky (Royal College of Music) and Danny Driver (Royal College of Music). She then went on to Trinity Laban Conservatoire to complete a masters in Music Education and Performance. Since 2016 Ksenija performed her first piano concerto with Goldsmiths Sinfonia, accompanied singers for the Schumann series festival, has participated in Elisabeth Schumann Lieder Duet competition, and has performed in Cadogan Hall.
Nelly is a multi award winning guitarist from Germany with a wide field of activities, who also teaches guitar and piano. Nelly completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of Music Cologne, Germany and has continued studies at the Royal College of Music completing her masters in Performance. In 2017, she performed Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the Freien Sinfoniker Bielefeld in Germany, and she is also a scholarship holder of the Yehudi-Menuhin-Foundation Live-Music-Now.
As the winner of the RCM Guitar competition 2016 and an award holder of the Musician’s Company London, Nelly performs regulary on stage as a solist and chamber musician at national and international festivals and concert series'. Since 2016, Nelly has performed in the NOVA Guitar Duo, performing in venues such as Wigmore Hall, the Buxton Festival, St. John’s Smith Square and Royal Albert Hall.
James is a trumpet tutor, and he is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he was taught by some of the leading musicians in the UK including Noel Langley, Percy Pursglove, Robbie Robson and Anne McAneny.
James has had a varied career of teaching as well as specialising as a jazz performer. He often records and performs around the world with a number of different bands. James has performed at many of the UK’s leading venues as well as tours around America, Europe and Asia. Some of these venues have included O2 Arena, The Barbican, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, The Spice of Life, Vortex Jazz Club, Wembley Stadium and alongside appearances at major UK Festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown and Bestival to name a few.
Vaida is a Lithuanian violinist and teacher, who began playing the violin at the age of six. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, focusing on performance and chamber ensemble music. Vaida now has a varied career of both performing and teaching; she has performed internationally in music festivals and workshops in Itlay, Germany, Belgium, and Russia and performs with a variety of orchestras and chamber ensembles.
She has taken part is master classes with tutors such as Petru Munteanu and Galina Turcaninova, and has also worked for the Lithuanian Opera House. As a teacher, Vaida has undertaken the Suzuki training, and has achieved a European Suzuki Association Level 4 teaching status.
Urška is a cellist from Slovenia. She has completed two Bachelor degrees with highest distinction from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia; the first degree in performance and the second in teaching. She has also completed a Master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium, as well as a Postgraduate Artist Diploma at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire achieving distinction and Director’s Prize for Excellence in Strings, under the guidance of David Cohen. Recently she continued her studies at Trinity, with an Independent Study Programme (Advanced).
Urška is the recipient of numerous 1st place awards from national and international competitions, including the Vera Kantrovitch Bach Competition 2015 and the Leonard Smith and Felicity Young Competition 2016. She has performed across the world both as a soloist and in various ensembles, and has been invited to participate in various festivals, such as Davos Festival (Switzerland), Les Sons Intensifs (Lessines, Belgium) & Virenze Concerts Series (Netherlands). In June 2016 she performed Dvořák's Cello Concerto with Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra in Cadogan Hall, after which she was invited to play the concerto again with London Euphonia Orchestra.
Jasmine is a singer as well as vocal and piano teacher, who has completed a BMus degree in Vocal Studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Music became involved in her life from a young age when she began playing the piano at age 4, followed by the flute at 9. At 16 Jasmine was accepted on the Junior Guildhall Vocal Course, where she began her classical singing training. Her love for music has developed into a passion for teaching where she hopes to inspire and motivate others.
As well as having a teaching career, Jasmine performs internationally as a classical singer. Her roles in operas and stage performances have included The Gamekeepers Wife, Pepik and Frog in The Cunning Little Vixen by Janacek, the Pie Seller in the wold premiere of Julian Phillip's opera The Tale of Januarie, conducted by Dominic Wheeler and directed by Martin Lloyd-Evans, Erste Knabe in The Magic Flute and most recently the role of Titania from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Benjamin Britten directed by Bridgitta Roy and Clive Timms.
Rob is a percussionist who studied drum kit and percussion at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Whilst at Trinity, his studies also specialised in instrumental teaching, and he now teaches both orchestral percussion and drum kit, giving individual lessons as well as leading workshops across London and the UK. He has also studied Cuban and Afro-Cuban percussion under Santiago Garzon Rill ‘Chaguito’ in Cuba.
Rob is a varied performer who plays the drum kit, orchestral percussion, tuned percussion, world percussion, and electronics in a range of bands and ensembles. He has worked with artists including James Arthur, Lighthouse Family, Wendy James (Transvision Vamp), Isabella Summers (Florence And The Machine), and Diane Charlemagne (Goldie, Netsky, S.P.Y). Rob also has a number or original projects - Talk In Colour, More Is More, and is running the unique 12-piece ensemble 'Stompy's Playground'. As a composer his own music has been broadcasted on national radio a number of times and performed at the Royal Festival Hall, The Southbank Centre, The Union Chapel, and festivals including Shambala, Wilderness, Boomtown, Bestival, and Davos Jazz festival (Switzerland).
Roxanna is a cellist who immerses herself both as a performer and cello tutor. She studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London, completing a music degree, where she specialised in classical performance under the supervision of Rebecca Turner and Danny Driver, as well as music education under Maria Krivensky. Roxanna has participated in master-classes with cellists such as Alexander Ivashkin, Nicolas Altstaedt, Oliver Coates, and is currently training under Natalia Pavlutskaya (Trinity Laban Conservatoire).
As a performer her main interest is in contemporary performance, she plays in various ensembles and often working closely with composers premiering their works. Roxanna has performed in many conferences and events, including 'Tête-à-tête' opera festival, Sounds Between Conference (University of Surrey), and Compositional Aesthetics and Political Conference (Goldsmiths College).
Maria is a Greek classical pianist and teacher. She received her Piano Diploma from the Municipal Conservatoire of Thessaloniki, where she studied with scholarship, and achieved distinction. She is currently completing her postgraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under the guidance of Gabriele Baldocci and Martino Tirimo (MA in Piano Performance and Music Education).
Maria has given recitals throughout Greece, Cyprus and the UK and has worked extensively as an accompanist and as a member of chamber music ensembles. She has performed in festivals for young musicians and as a soloist with the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki. Apart from her musical studies, she received her Bachelor degree in Primary Education from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with Distinction and attained QTS. During her studies she performed as an orchestra member in the Symphony Orchestra of the University. She has additionally worked as an SEN Teacher focusing on students with dyslexia and learning difficulties at Langdon Academy in Newham, London.
Adam was born in Manchester, England and began his musical studies from an early age in primary school, initially on the cello and then moving onto the classical guitar. Adam has studied and performed in the USA under Michael Partington and is currently studying classical guitar under Graham Anthony Devine at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in London.
He recently returned from Granada, Spain where he spent a large part of his studies at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música "Victoria Eugenia" de Granada in conjunction with Trinity Laban. Adam enjoys a varied musical career performing, recording, teaching, writing and collaborating with friends and colleagues, and he also holds a teaching diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
Rodrigo is a composer, piano tutor & music theory tutor specialising in a range of subjects, including jazz harmony and improvisation, classical harmony and tonal form & composition (in a range of methodological approaches). He completed his first degree in music education and sociology at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and then went on to complete a music degree at Goldsmiths, University of London.
As a composer, Rodrigo has had many of his works premiered across the UK and Portugal, including at the Cheltenham Music Festival, Zealous X Festival, Superior School of Music in Lisbon and he has also performed himself in conferences such as Sounds Between Conference (University of Surrey), and Compositional Aesthetics and Political Conference (Goldsmiths College). As a performance designer and workshop leader he has founded many unique initiatives including PLACE (Lisbon), Camara Nova (Madeira) and the New Makers Ensemble (London). Rodrigo also works as a creative researcher for the CIERL (Research Centre for Regional and Local Studies), University of Madeira.

We offer an initial no commitment lesson. Thereafter lessons are booked in blocks of 4 or 8.
If our tutors travel to you, there will be an additional travel fee, which will vary depending on the location.
We also offer family discounts for multiple students. These discounts vary depending on the situation.
Our prices are set in mind of giving excellent tuition at a reasonable price, whilst also paying our talented tutors fairly.
The majority of our tutors are based in South East London, where you can travel to them for lessons. We will always aim to offer the most convenient location for you.
